The EHS Data Analyst will excel in the design, creation, and management of large datasets and have the analytical skills to answer tough questions related to EHS.
The successful candidate will have excellent technical and communication skills and work closely with EHS and Operations leaders to create reports, deep-dive data, determine root causes and provide insightful recommendations to support the EHS business.
A successful candidate will be uncompromisingly detail oriented, efficient, and customer obsessed.
Their work must be accurate, timely, and insightful.
They must be a self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
They will build sustainable and scalable processes, documentation, and reporting that can be leveraged across the EHS space.
In addition, the successful candidate will dive deep into complex problems, answer critical business questions, extract valuable insights from data to better understand EHS results and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
The candidate must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis clearly to a wide audience including senior leadership.
EHS Data Analyst
Responsibilities:
Analyze compliance, injury, and incident trends and metrics and highlight area of increased risk to functional business leaders Provide thought leadership to place Amazon at the forefront of best practices within EHS as well as help create a culture of innovation within the EHS organization Spend time at Amazon facilities and seek input from site level EHS teams and Operations leadership Deliver on-time and quality reporting processes that benefit Amazon leaders and Associates Work with EHS leadership to understand specific needs; aggregate these needs into a single solutions and push towards automation of data reporting for real time analysis Review for effectiveness the deployed safety tools and revise to ensure continual improvement.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
