Summary:
To implement a successful operation by managing all distribution, warehouse functions, Working Supervisors, Material Handlers and third party logistics contractors.
Specific functions include receiving, shipping, physical inventory, route management, bin management while managing the productivity and ensuring the safety and security of the TWW Branch.
This position may assume the role of Branch Manager in the absence of the Branch Manager and Branch Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for:
shipping and receiving; administration; warehousing; and safety and security of the TWW branch.
These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Monitors volume of business and determines appropriate work schedule.
Sets productivity and establishes necessary controls to ensure objectives are met.
Monitors condition and maintenance of operating / material handling equipment.
Constantly monitors the efficient handling of shipments and receipts to create an error free culture.
Reviews the loading and unloading schedules to maximize efficiencies and reduce expenses.
Coordinates shipping and receiving schedules with the support of TWW sales to ensure third party logistic contractors are meeting appointment schedules at lowest cost.
Takes corrective action when necessary.
Prioritizes inbound shipments to ensure proper inventory levels and warehouse schedules.
Coordinates outbound shipments with Branch Manager to meet branch delivery goals and exceed customer expectations.
Investigates shipping discrepancies and takes appropriate corrective action.
Coordinates any necessary records or invoice corrections.
Administration:
Communicates Company and departmental policies and procedures to material handlers, drivers and third party logistic contractors.
Ensures these policies & procedures are properly communicated and enforced.
Responsible for providing appropriate training, performance analysis, and special projects to material handlers, drivers and dedicated logistic contractors.
Ensures teammates are also cross-trained in various job functions.
Manages the coordination of daily warehouse activity.
Schedules & manages vacation time for material handlers by using TWW weekly work schedule.
Determines the distribution and coordination of work assignments & schedules.
Manages, investigates and resolves concerns/issues of warehouse personnel.
Recommends overtime as necessary, striving to keep it to a minimum.
Communicates and trains material handlers, drivers and third party logistic contractors on safety guidelines.
Takes appropriate action to ensure a safe, clean work environment for all teammates.
Manages, investigates and reviews accidents/incidents.
Communicates to TWW Region and Branch Manager.
Monitors teammate attendance with the support of the Branch Manager and takes corrective action when appropriate.
Conducts or provides input regarding performance appraisals with Material Handlers, Working Supervisor and dedicated logistic contractors to identify strengths, monitor performance and takes action for areas for improvement
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
1.
Education / Experience a.
BS Degree in Logistics/Business Administration or related plus 2 years Logistics supervisory experience.
Or b.
High School graduate or equivalent with 8 years progressive responsibility in logistics environment including 2 years supervisory experience and 2 years warehousing experience.
2.
Must pass a Mobile Equipment Operation (MEO) Physical.
(Every two years) 3.
Possess great interpersonal skills, excellent computer skills and take charge leadership skills.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to physically lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
