Infant/Toddler Assistant teacher
Start immediately: We are currently seeking to add in our staff passionate, qualified and experienced Assistant PT/FT teacher.
Teachers must focus on keeping the classroom on pace with the daily schedule while maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere. Effective communication skills and strong organizational skills are essential qualities for this position .
To be considered for this position, you must meet all requirements listed below:
High school or GED must be 18+
o Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
o Strong written and communication skills
o CPR and First Aid or willing to obtain
oMust be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
Be Reliable and punctual
Prior classroom experience in a childcare center with potty training (Infant, Toddler, Preschool) A PLUS
oClean background check is REQUIRED
oMinimum of 2 work references. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation a must.
