Dispatch Agent/Routing Specialist

Our call center is open 7 days a week, from 6am until 9pm.
This position offers varied schedules and occasional overtime! Duties:
Utilize appointment booking and capacity tools to determine location of technicians and available customer appointments; tailor planning to meet geographic area needs.
Understand daily capacity needs/opportunities and pro-actively communicate to appropriate leadership Responsible for the routing of appointment loads, the successful dispatch of planned loads and subsequent ownership of loads for assigned area.
Communicate late arrivals, as well as any other load changes, to appropriate department personnel.
Responsible for tracking and updating routed appointments to ensure customer expectations are met with timely arrival of technicians to their scheduled appointments.
Facilitate direct contact with customers, technicians and other field operations personnel to provide timely communication on all aspects of appointment status.
Must use best judgment to comply with defined appointment priorities and ensure productivity goals are met.
Acts as point of contact for client's area managers or customer support departments (provides appointment status and daily load details) Ability to resolve scheduling issues that may arise during routing and daily load management Must be able to follow instruction (written or verbal), write clearly, and communicate well at all levels.
Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, required.
Some college preferred.
Attention to detail Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication Skills.
Must have 2 years of experience related to routing, dispatching or load management.
Requires a high level of proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and related applications.
Must have strong analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyze data.
Experience with routing management software desired.
To be successful in this position you must:
Be a great communicator, both verbally and written.
Be able to provide amazing customer service, generally we look for 1-2 years of experience.
Be able to test negative on a pre-employment drug test.
Meet our criminal background screening criteria.
